Starting in commercial fit outs as a licensed carpenter and joiner, principal Simon Cozens quickly gained a reputation as a fire door specialist. Installing over 5000 fire doors across all facets of construction soon inspired Simon to launch his own fire protection company.
Keenly augmenting his practical skills, Simon studied business management, asset maintenance and fire protection complemented by licenses in: portable fire protection, passive fire protection, emergency and exit lighting systems, Pyrogen suppression system installation in addition to fire detection/alarm & warning systems.
As one of the few licensed fire door certifiers in the area, we offer fully comprehensive fire protection encompassing consultation, supply, installation, certification and servicing. Officially launching in 2012, Coast Fire Safety is a Sunshine Coast based family business equipped with over 30 years of industry expertise.
We continue to grow at a rapid pace and after seeing a need in the Wide Bay Burnett and Gympie regions we launched Bundaberg Fire Safety and Gympie Fire Safety, where we continue to offer even more Queensland businesses highly competitive pricing without compromising on quality! Our specialised business Sunshine Coast Fire Doors & Frames provides comprehensive fire door expertise for new medium density residential developments across Queensland.
